NIGERIAN Air Force (NAF) has completed the factory acceptance test for three M-346 fighter jets in Italy, with delivery expected by December.
The tests at the Leonardo Aircraft Division in Venegono, conducted from June 29 to July 9, 2026, confirmed that the aircraft meet all required standards for induction into the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fleet.
A joint delegation of NAF and Ministry of Defence officials discussed pilot training and logistics support with Leonardo and inspected training facilities.
Air Marshal Sunday Aneke described the acquisition as a strategic enhancement for combat readiness, supporting Nigeria’s defence objectives.
