BETWEEN July 29 and August 7, 38 vessels are expected to arrive at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port, and Tin Can Island Port, according to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

This includes 14 vessels with containerised cargo and 24 discharging bulk items such as urea, petrol, crude oil, diesel, wheat, gypsum, sugar, and general cargo.

Currently, 13 vessels are awaiting berthing with various cargoes, while 25 ships are actively discharging at the ports.

The NPA emphasized that these shipping activities demonstrate robust cargo traffic, highlighting the ports’ significance in Nigeria’s import and export trade.
