
THE Federal Government has allocated ₦46 billion for the rehabilitation of the primary and secondary runways at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) to modernize aviation infrastructure and enhance passenger experience.
Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo announced this during the commissioning of the upgraded Dankabo Domestic Terminal at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.
The project aims to improve operational efficiency, safety, and aircraft movements, while the terminal upgrade focuses on providing a world-class travel experience. This initiative is part of broader efforts to modernize airport infrastructure in Nigeria and position Kano as a key aviation hub in the region.
