TWENTY-SIX cargo vessels, transporting petroleum products, food items, and other commodities, are scheduled to arrive at Apapa Port, Tin Can Island Port, and Lekki Deep Sea Port in Lagos between July 21 and July 26, according to the Nigerian Ports Authority’s (NPA) Daily Shipping Position released on Tuesday.
The NPA reports that 11 incoming vessels are carrying containers with assorted goods, while 15 ships are set to deliver various cargoes, including bulk urea, petrol, crude oil, diesel, aviation fuel, bulk wheat, fresh fish, trucks, and general cargo.
Additionally, 16 ships have arrived at the ports, awaiting berthing, with cargoes comprising petrol, bulk wheat, general cargo, bulk fertiliser, and others.
Currently, 25 ships are discharging cargoes at the ports, involving offloading of bulk wheat, containers, general cargo, petrol, diesel, crude oil, aviation fuel, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar, and bulk gas.
