THE Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has launched the Blue Economy Accelerator Programme to nurture innovative startups that will enhance Nigeria’s marine and blue economy.
Led by Dr. Dayo Mobereola, Director-General of NIMASA, the initiative offers business development support, mentorship, and technical guidance to help convert ideas into viable ventures. It aims to attract young innovators and empower them to address challenges in various sectors, such as Marine Waste Management, Aquaculture, Maritime Technology, Ocean Energy, and Marine Biotechnology.
The programme seeks a minimum of 150 high-quality applications from Nigerian citizens.
