Lekki Port, NDLEA deepen alliance to tighten maritime security, secure trade
THE management of Lekki Deep Seaport has enhanced collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to bolster security and support legitimate trade in Nigeria.
NDLEA Chairman Buba Marwa visited the port to discuss strategies for maintaining global security standards and praised Lekki Port’s contributions to the national economy. He emphasized the need for stronger partnerships and intelligence sharing to combat illicit drug trafficking.
Lekki Port Managing Director Wang Qiang highlighted the port’s modern infrastructure and commitment to security, stating their dedication to collaboration with NDLEA and other agencies to ensure cargo integrity and operational excellence.
