AIR Peace has suspended all flights to and from Benin Airport due to a runway incursion that temporarily closed the runway.
The airline expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers, stating that the decision was beyond its control.
This occurred after an Enugu Air Embraer E170 operating Flight 4264 overran Runway 05 during landing.
The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau is investigating the incident, confirming that all 63 passengers and five crew members were unharmed. A preliminary report is due within 30 days as per regulations.
