Super Eagle’s coach, Sunday Oliseh has invited two leading goal-scorers in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and 21 other star players to the national team camp ahead of the crucial September 5, African Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifying match against Tanzania in Dar es-Salaam.

Leading the park of home-based Super Eagles’ invitees are NPFL top scorers, Tunde Adeniji of Sunshine Stars and Heartland’s Bright Ejike. Five other strikers invited by coach Oliseh to fight for shirts in the team are Etebo Oghenekaro, Ezekiel Bassey, Gbolahan Salami, Bright Onyedikachi and Prince Aggreh.

Also on the call-up list are three goal-keepers, eight defenders and five mid fielders. The three chosen goalkeepers are Olufemi Thomas, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and David Obiazo while two regular defenders during the reign of Stephen Keshi, Nelson Ogbonnaya and Solomon Kwambe also made the list.

Oliseh is expected to unveil another list of foreign-based players could feature players like Vincent Enyeama, Victor Moses and John Obi Mikel any time soon.

Midfielders: Ifeanyi Mathew (El-Kanemi Warriors); Usman Mohammed (FC Taraba); Azubuike Okechukwu (Bayelsa United); Lordson Ichull (Warri Wolves); Kingsley Sokari (Enyimba FC)
