Amedspor striker Gift Orban continued his impressive start to the Super Lig season with a hat-trick in his side’s emphatic 5-0 win over Istanbul Başakşehir on Sunday night.
The former Hellas Verona forward produced a standout second-half performance at the Seyrantepe Spor Kompleksi Stadyumu 1, scoring three times to help Amedspor secure a convincing victory.
Orban opened his account seven minutes after the restart when he rose to meet Furkan Soyalp’s cross, heading the ball into the bottom corner.Two minutes later, the Nigerian striker doubled his personal tally after completing a swift counter-attack. He calmly finished from close range following a precise layoff from Ermal Krasniqi.
Orban completed his hat-trick with 15 minutes remaining, firing home another pass from Krasniqi to cap an outstanding individual display.The three goals took Orban’s league tally to six, level with fellow Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen on the Super Lig scoring chart.
Since joining Amedspor on loan during the summer transfer window, Orban has scored six goals and provided one assist in five league appearances. He has also found the net against Trabzonspor, Kasimpasa and Istanbul Başakşehir, establishing himself as one of the division’s most in-form forwards.
