OLISEH IN TRAININGSuper Eagle’s coach, Sunday Oliseh has invited 26 players to the national camp in Abuja for preparation for the 2016 African Cup of Nations’ Championship (CHAN) which is expected to start on Monday, December 14, 2015.

Sunshine Stars of Akure has the highest number of contingents with five players while Warri Wolves and Enugu Rangers have four players each. League champions, Enyimba and neighbour, Heartland FC as well as Shooting Stars Soccer Club (3SC) have two players each with other clubs like Abia Warrior, Nasarawa United, El-Kanemi Warriors, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Sharks, Giwa FC and FC Taraba contributing one player each. Surprisingly, no player made the squad from the reigning Confederations Cup champions, Akwa United and runners up, Lobi Stars. Similarly, the dethroned NPFL champions, Kano Pillars have no player in the squad list, same as Dolphins of Port Harcourt and relegated Bayelsa United and Kwara United respectively.
