
Fifty youths in Benin City have completed a week long intensive training on ICT Foundation Digital Skills, implemented by Oke-Eze Increase Nigeria Limited and sponsored by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB.The training, which started on Monday and ended today, was designed to equip participants with basic digital literacy, computer operations, internet usage, and other foundational ICT skills needed for employment and entrepreneurship in the digital economy.
A representative of Oke-Eze Increase Nigeria Limited, Ojigbo Newton stated that the training covered practical modules including Microsoft Office Suite, email and internet research, digital communication, online safety, and basic data management.
He added that all 50 participants received training materials, certificates of completion, and starter support to help them apply their new skills.
Participants expressed appreciation to NCDMB and Oke-Eze Increase Nigeria Limited for the opportunity.
Many said the training has boosted their confidence and opened new opportunities in freelancing, remote work, and business.
