Bitget Wallet has partnered with Reality, a regulated tokenised-asset platform, to give users access to more than 1,700 tokenised US stocks and ETFs directly through its self-custodial wallet.

The integration allows Nigerian users to gain exposure to major US companies such as Nvidia, Tesla, Apple and Amazon without opening a foreign brokerage account or moving their assets to a third party. The tokenised shares, known as rTokens, are backed 1:1 by actual US equities held with FINRA-registered broker-dealer Alpaca Securities, with reserves independently verified daily.

During US trading hours, transactions are linked to liquidity on Nasdaq and the NYSE, while more than 90 popular rTokens remain available for trading outside market hours. The service is currently supported on the Arbitrum and Morph networks.

Eligible dividends are credited to users in stablecoins, while stock splits and other corporate actions are automatically reflected. The tokens can also serve as collateral or be used in other blockchain applications.

Bitget said the integration removes the need for a separate brokerage platform, allowing users to manage tokenised US equities alongside their existing crypto and stablecoin holdings while retaining control of their private keys.
