A fire has erupted at Terminal 2 of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) confirmed that emergency responders, including the Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service (ARFFS), are working to control the blaze. Fortunately, there are no reported casualties or loss of life.
This incident comes months after another fire at Terminal 1 disrupted operations by damaging critical communication systems. The cause of the current fire has not yet been disclosed, and further updates are anticipated as the situation develops.
