Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) says adequate logistics, security and safety measures have been put in place to ensure a hitch-free 2017 African Cup of Nations qualification opening match between the Super Eagles and the Senior national team of Chad this Saturday in Kaduna.

“Apart from always being the big and affable brother, we are known to be among the best hosts in the world. All arrangements have been concluded for security and hospitality for your team and we are on top of ensuring a hitch –free match on Saturday,” NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi told officials of the Embassy of Chad in Abuja on Monday ahead of the team’s arrival on Thursday.

“The Nigeria Football Federation is known worldwide for taking good care of our visitors. Things will not be different this time around,” Sanusi assures.

The NFF Marketing department also confirmed that tickets into the Ahmadu Bello Stadium for Saturday’s match will go on sale in selected outlets in Kaduna on Thursday. According to the FA, tickets into the VIP stand of the stadium will cost the sum of N2, 000, while the grandstand will go for N500 and the popular area will be sold for N300 only.

The match will be the first by the Super Eagles on the natural turf of Ahmadu Bello Stadium since a 4-0 international friendly victory over the Stallions of Burkina Faso on September 10, 2013.
