President Muhammadu Buhari receives the Chairman, Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Governor of Yobe State Mai Mala Buni at the State House Abuja, Monday 17th January 2022. The meeting according to sources is not unconnected with recent developments in the party especially the party’s national convention. It could be recalled that the governors of the All Progressives Party (APC) last night passed a vote of confidence of the Chairman of the CECPC.
Observers say the meeting is a confirmation of the president’s confidence in the leadership of Mai Mala Buni and the entire CECPC team.
