The Deputy Country Senior Partner, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Nigeria, Tola Ogundipe, is dead.
The late Ogundipe went missing on Saturday while boating on a coast near Lagos. His corpse was found on Monday, a day after his boat was recovered.
The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the incident, said four workers of the deceased had been interrogated. He explained that the state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, had ordered discreet investigation into the matter.
In an official statement signed by its Country Senior Partner, Uyi Akpata, Price Waterhouse Coopers described the deceased as a “thoroughbred professional”.
On its own part, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), described late Ogundipe’s death as “heartbreaking “.
