Late wife of former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, is billed for burial on Friday, January 15 the family has announced.
Kate, Stephen Keshi’s wife of over 35 years died on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in a United States hospital after battling cancer for three years.
According to a statement issued by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), the service of songs was held on Thursday evening at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Benin City, Edo State preparatory for her burial on Friday.
Kate was last seen at the wedding of her daughter, Ifeyinwa at Ekenwa in Benin in March 2015.
Kate Keshi (Nee Abumere), 54, is survived by her husband, Keshi, four children, her mother, brother, sisters and numerous relatives.
