Nigeria’s foreign exchange earnings and industrial capacity could receive a boost as the public offer of Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Free Zone Enterprise opens today, Monday, September 14, 2026.
The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and the Association of Securities Dealing Houses of Nigeria (ASHON) described the offer as a landmark development for Nigeria’s capital market, providing investors with an opportunity to acquire stakes in the strategically important enterprise.
The offer is priced at N525 per share, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares.
According to CIS and ASHON, the refinery’s integrated refining and petrochemicals model could support import substitution, industrial growth and greater public participation in the capital market among retail and institutional investors.
“The proposed listing combines a strong integrated business model with the scale required to contribute meaningfully to the country’s energy security,” CIS President Fiona Ahimie said, encouraging investors with a long-term outlook to consider the offer.
ASHON Chairman Sehinde Adenagbe added that bringing an enterprise of this scale to the public market broadens ownership, supports wealth creation and adds depth to Nigeria’s investment landscape.
All stockbroking firms licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) are accredited receiving agents for the offer. Licensed brokers nationwide are available to assist new and existing investors with Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) account setup and application submissions.
The market bodies advised prospective investors to review the approved offer documents and invest according to their financial capacity and long-term goals.
