Colombia beat Ghana 1-0 in a World Cup round of 32 match on Friday, July 3 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

In the 14th minute of the first half, Jhon Arias tapped in the goal after a dazzling assist from Luis Suárez. It was his first goal of the tournament.

James Rodríguez, the 2014 Golden Boot winner, was substituted out of the match at halftime. There was no reports on if he was injured or not.

Black Stars goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi was on his toes all night and finished with seven saves.

Ghana exits the tournament after finishing in third place in Group L. Their highlight of group play was taking England to a scoreless draw.

Colombia will face Switzerland in the round of 16 on Tuesday, July 7.
