The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja and Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, as home venues for Super Eagles 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Actions will resume in the qualifiers next month, with the Super Eagles set to take on fellow West Africans Guinea- Bissau in a double header.

Jose Peseiro’s side top Group B with six points after winning their opening two games against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe.

24 countries will have to play their home games at a neutral venue after their home grounds were not approved by CAF.

North African giants, Egypt (six) and Algeria (five) have the highest number of approved stadia.

The 2023 AFCON will be staged in Cote d’Ivoire.
