EL-RUFAI

Aide De Camp (ADC) of Governor Nasir el-Rufa’i of Kaduna State, Abdullah Usman has reportedly lost his job over allegations of insubordination.

Mr. Usman, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) who worked with governor el-Rufa’i throughout his electioneering campaigns and was rewarded with the plum job soon after the former FCT Minister won the guber poll was kicked out last week after being found guilty of many allegations of gross misconduct.

The former ADC was reportedly found guilty of alleged mismanagement of funds meant for his colleagues, short-changing some friends of the governor and other domestic staff of the government house. He was also found culpable of causing disaffection and misunderstanding between the Police and men of the State Security Service (SSS), among other issues. “The governor felt disappointed over his ADC’s behaviour and asked him to vacate his position”, a source said.

Mr. Usman has already been replaced with Danasabe Ibrahim, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) officer. DSP Ibrahim was until his appointment chief security officer (CSO) of the government house.
