Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has attacked President Muhammadu Buhari’s Advisers over the suspension of the microblogging website, Twitter.
Fayemi, who is also the Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), described whoever advised President Buhari to take the step as his biggest enemy.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed had announced the suspension of Twitter in Nigeria for some spurious reasons. But Fayemi stated that the suspension of Twitter in Nigerian space is not justifiable by any argument, after the microblogging site removed a dangerous, irresponsible and insensitive tweet by the President.
Governor Fayemi on his verified Twitter account berated the federal government on the development and defined the action as an “indefensible move”.
