The All Progressive Congress (APC), in Abia has advised the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), to start packing out of Government House, Umuahia. This advice was handed down by a chieftain of APC, and chairman APC National Contact/Strategic Committee, High Chief Ikechi Emenike, in his country home of Umukabia Ohuhu in Umuahia North Local Government Area while addressing party faithful who thronged his residence over the weekend after the burial of his mother-in-law, Lady Felicia Olaocha Ohadiugha.
Chief Emenike said “they (PDP) have never won any election in the past. They are just rigging. But I am telling you that they cannot rig the election in 2023,” expressing optimism that in Abia State, the PDP had already started packing out of Government House.
According to him, PDP and other parties in Nigeria do not have any authentic membership register except APC with almost 40 million members and still counting, adding that APC would soon decide what happens in the state.
He further noted that the party’s Congresses had taken place in the state twice “and we won. Congress will be done soon and we will know who owns the party (in the state).”
Late Lady Felicia Olaocha Ohadiugha is the mother of Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States of America Dr. Elizabeth Uzoma Emenike.
