Senator Binta Masi Garba, Senator -Elect from Adamawa North Senatorial District has called for creation of special national job recruitment platform that would provide Nigerian job seekers equal, fair and meritorious opportunities into public service jobs.
The APC Senator in a statement issued through her social media-twitter account noted that job creation should be a top priority of the incoming administration led by Muhammadu Buhari and that job center would help to eliminate the craze and misery of job hunting faced by millions of school leavers across Nigeria.
“All vacancies in Federal and State Ministries should be in a central databank where #EVERY Nigerian can access without the ‘man-know-man’ fuss”, she tweeted via @GarbaBinta.
The fire-brand Senator have also issued a rallying call to the newly elected politic leaders across the country to curtail wasteful spending so as to conserve resources for development of the country. She listed non-use of convoy of cars as one of the crucial ways political leaders can help channel public resources to better use.
According to the senator, it “doesn’t make sense to me when you are elected to serve and you move around in a convoy of cars. It’s a huge waste of public funds.”
