Victor-Moses

Chelsea winger Victor Moses is expected to be recalled into the Super Eagles after his recent spell out of the senior national team during the late stage of Stephen Keshi reign. Moses’ imminent return follows successful talks with Super Eagles’ coach, Sunday Oliseh in London.

Oliseh who posted a photograph he took with the player and his Belgian assistant, Jean Francois Losciuto, on his twitter account on Monday night, also disclosed that he had held a “very constructive meeting” with Moses in London.

According to the Super Eagles’ coach, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Amaju Pinnick was also present during the meeting with Moses after the Community Shield match between Arsenal and Chelsea.

“At Wembley to see Chelsea vs Arsenal. Hoping to see Super Eagles Moses & Mikel play with FA Boss Pinnick & Losciuto. Very constructive meeting with Chelsea & Super Eagles’ Victor Moses. The team building continues,” Oliseh wrote through his Twitter account @SundayOOliseh.

The former Super Eagles midfielder disclosed further that he also met Chelsea’s Nigerian midfielder,  John Obi Mikel after the game to inform him that both him and Moses will be part of the “new team building process”. Mikel has played 64 times for Nigeria at senior level while Moses, who won his first cap for Nigeria in 2012 has played for the Super Eagles 24 times.
