After discussing with President Buhari for about 40 minutes, Obasanjo was seen off to his car by the President before he was driven out of the premises at about 12.50pm.

This is not the first time Obasanjo will be visiting President Buhari. On September 8 the two men also had a closed door meeting. On August 21, President Buhari had named Obasanjo as his special envoy to mediate and help find a solution to the political crisis in Guinea Bissau following the removal Domingos Simoes Pereira as the country’s Prime Minister by President Jose Mario Vaz.
