The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB, in partnership with OMAROG NIGERIA LIMITED, has completed a 5-day intensive training programme in Fire Alarm and Access Control Technology for 50 youths in Lagos State.

The programme, which ran from *August 3 to August 7, 2026*, was held in Lagos State and targeted young Nigerians to equip them with practical, in-demand skills in fire safety systems and electronic access control.

OMAROG NIGERIA LIMITED, the technical partner, facilitated hands-on sessions covering installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of modern fire alarm systems and access control solutions.

Participants also received training on industry standards, safety protocols, and job-readiness skills to help them access employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the opportunity, saying the training has positioned them to compete for jobs in construction, oil and gas, real estate, and facility management.
