AIRLINE Operators of Nigeria (AON) has issued a warning to aviation unions against disrupting flight operations amid a dispute regarding ticket service charge (TSC) remittances.

This warning comes after a seven-day ultimatum was given by the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN) and the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), demanding the remittance of owed TSC.

The AON in a statement states it has no transactional relationship with these unions and emphasizes that they do not represent the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). Furthermore, the AON highlights the challenging conditions domestic airlines face due to high aviation costs and stresses its commitment to safety and seamless travel, urging the authorities to take note of any potential disruptions.
