The Director, Social Communications of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto Rev. Fr. Chris Omotosho has said that a Parish Priest, his assistant, and two other young men have been abducted from a church premises in Katsina.
In a short press release, Fr. Omotosho said that gunmen broke into the rectory of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Gidan Maikambo, Kafur LGA of Katsina State as at midnight of today, 25th May, 2022, and kidnapped the parish priest and his assistant Rev. Frs. Stephen Ojapa, MSP, & Oliver Okpara and 2 boys in the house. No information as to their whereabouts. Kindly pray for their safety and release.
