A new Aide-de-Camp has been appointed for President Muhammadu Buhari. The new ADC, Lt-Col Y.M. Dodo, takes over from Col. M.L. Abubakar who has been with the President since inception of his regime in 2015.
Abubakar is proceeding on a five-month promotion course in Chile.
An ADC is one of the most prominent security officials in the “inner ring” of the Presidency.
Others in that category are the Chief Security Officer(CSO) and the Chief Personal Security Officer, among others.
