The deputy governor of the state, Dr Nkem Okeke, has officially dumped the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).This is coming some days ahead of the November 6 Anambra governorship election,

Okeke alongside Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State and APC Caretaker Chairman and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday.

It was gathered that the Deputy Governor decided to dump APGA and join the APC as a mark of protest against the neglect he has faced in the last four years in office.

It was learned that the state governor, Willie Obiano allegedly sidelined Okeke and decided to run the administration with his wife.

The deputy governor was said to have been overlooked during the formation of the APGA governorship campaign council in the state and was not informed of the campaign flag-off which took place last month.

It was gathered that all his entitlements and allowances have been allegedly seized by the governor.
