Popular actress and television personality Ada Ameh has been reported dead. She died in Warri, Delta State around 11 pm on Sunday, according to a source within the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
Ameh was said to have been a guest of an oil company toyshop and his family when she suddenly collapsed.
It was gathered that she was rushed to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s hospital but passed on before they arrived the facility.
Actress Ada Ameh has opened up on the death of her daughter one year after her passing away.
It could be recalled that the actress has been suffering from depression since the death of her daughter.
In a chat with Chude Jideonwo last year, on his show #WithChude, ‘The Johnson’ star revealed how she has been coping with life after the death of her daughter, whom she had at 14.
“This was the one – losing my daughter – that broke me. “What am I doing? What next? What am I going to do?
“That was my number one praise singer. That was my number one cheerleader. That was my prayer partner,” she responded when asked.
Continuing, Ameh said,: “I think this is the first time I am saying (these things) – not having anything like alcohol in my system at all since she passed – in an interview.
“Sometimes when I’m invited for some functions, I get myself knocked up. I just look at people knowing fully well that, they don’t know I know by the way they stare at me. ‘Should I just tell her sorry?’”
The actress who is well known for her role as Emuh in the TV sit-com The Johnsons was quoted as saying that she has not been able to cope with her heartbreak from her losses.
The death of the actress has been receiving series of comments across the Nigerian cyberspace as she was well loved by her fans.
