In a television interview moderated by Seun Okinbaloye, on Wednesday, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nassarawa State was asked if APC’s presidential candidate would be able to go head to head against an Atiku Abubakar. Read the Governor’s response to the question below.
“Atiku Abubakar is somebody I have so much respect for. He is a very experienced person. I have a personal relationship with him and he is a wonderful human being but Atiku Abubakar is not just going against the candidate, he is going against the party APC, so you have to understand it from that perspective. He has more work to do because he has to convince people that he can do better than this person and better than APC.
APC knew that Atiku Abubakar could win so it is not a surprise, that he would be facing the totality of APC, that is 22 governors and counting. Considering all the things APC has done at the federal level, all the infrastructural development, it will be very difficult for Atiku Abubakar to beat our ideal candidate”.
