A middle-aged man, Idowu Moses, who was hit by stray bullets fired by men of the Nigerian Customs Service in Oja-Odan in the Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, has died.
Moses, a panel beater, sustained gunshot injury while the Customs men were chasing suspected smugglers on Saturday. The deceased, according to a family relation, died on Saturday night at the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The panel beater was in his shop when he was hit by a stray bullet believed to have been fired men of the Nigerian Customs Service led by Jalo and Abdullahi.
As of the time of filing this report, the Nigerian Customs Service is yet to officially respond to this sad event.
