Barcelona has named Netherlands head coach, Ronald Koeman, as the club’s new manager.
The Economy Online gathered, following a tweet by football journalist, Fabrizio Romani, that the former Barcelona defender will now take over the reins of management as the Blaugrana look to bounce back next season after losing the La Liga title to bitter rivals, Real Madrid and also being embarrassingly sent packing from the UEFA Champions League by Bayern Munich.
“Ronald Koeman has been chosen as new Barcelona manager. He’s going to leave Holland National team to join Barça – official statement on this week. Here we go”! Romani tweeted.
Koeman becomes Barcelona’s third managerial change this year, having already parted company with Ernesto Valverde and QuiqueSetien.
