Kelechi Iheanacho’s superb first-time volley away at Burnley has been named Leicester City’s Goal of the Month for March, reports say.
The award comes after he was named the Premier League’s player for the month of March.
Iheanacho’s strike beat goals from Ayoze Pérez, Youri Tielemans, Shannon O’Brien, Esmee De Graaf and Sam Tierney.
The 24-year-old has been nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award in March after scoring seven goals in four games in all competitions for the Foxes in the month under review.
The 24-year-old forward is nominated alongside Luke Shaw (Man United), Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal), Jesse Lingard (West Ham), Harry Kane (Tottenham) and Riyad Mahrez (Man City).
