Tony-Elumelu-Biography

It will be the largest gathering of aspiring entrepreneurs in African when the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) takes place from July 10 to 12. It is a $100 million Pan-African entrepreneurship initiative. The programme will host 1,000 entrepreneurs in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, who were drawn from more than 20,000 applicants from African countries.

The purpose of the gathering is to provide opportunity for the aspiring entrepreneurs to meet with established business men for inspiration and mentoring.

Elumelu, TEEP Founder, who has been vocal about entrepreneurship-led development and the push for a private sector-driven turnaround of Africa says:  “In empowering these emerging entrepreneurs, we are providing the capital, the networks, the training and support for them to drive economic and social transformation throughout Africa, providing solutions to its problems as well as securing their future and that of generations to come.”
