Founder of Daar Communication Plc, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi was on Wednesday released from Kuje prisons where he was being detained after failing to meet the bail conditions imposed on him by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
Dokpesi is under trial for allegedly receiving the sum of N2.1billion from former National Security Adviser, Mohammed Sambo Dasuki, on behalf of DAAR Investment and Holding Company Limited for publicity services of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
The media tycoon was released to his counsel, Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN in the presence of his son, Raymond Jnr and wife, Tosin, after fulfilling the bail conditions.
