The third Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2023), which has just concluded in Cairo, Egypt, was a unique event.

The conference, which attracted over $43 billion in trade and business transactions, also featured numerous attractions promoting Africa’s food heritage.

Prof. Benedict Oramah, President of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), transformed into a chef by participating in a culinary event.

He emphasized that food fosters unity and communal living, and it’s crucial for Africans to preserve their diverse food heritage by resisting external influences and preserving genuine tastes
