Barclay Premiership club, West Ham United are targeting a January move for former Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike to bolster its attack line following an injury to strikers Diafra Sakho and Andy Caroll.
Emenike whose season long loan to United Arab Emirate club, Al Ain from Fenerbache was terminated earlier this month following a questionable commitment and poor form is considered a suitable candidate by the club coaching crew.
The agent of the former Dynamo Moscow FC forward was reported to have travelled to London earlier this week as the 28-year-old remains in the frame to seal a move to the east London outfit.
West Ham are also considering moves for former striker, Demba Ba and Alexandre Pato, who is said to be keen on a move to England, as Sakho and Carroll undergoes long spell on the sidelines.
Joint-chairman David Sullivan said on Tuesday afternoon: ‘We are looking long-term for a 20-goals-a-season striker.
“There’s a possibility that a striker will come in on loan in the next seven days, with an option to buy”, he hinted.
