About 108 insurance brokers have been delisted by The National Insurance Commission for failing to renew their licences.
Sources close to NAICOM said the commission might publish the names of the affected brokers. The consequence of publishing their names is that the affected brokers will not be allowed to renew their operating licences or practise as insurance brokers. According to the source, “if they are still interested in the brokerage profession, they will have to go through another process of obtaining new licences.”
