Ivory Coast legend, Didier Drogba has cited Morocco’s lack of cutting edge as the reason they lost 2-0 to France in the 2022 World Cup semi-final.
Drogba has now challenged the Atlas Lions to take their chance against Croatia in the third-place playoff.
Morocco had set history as the first African team to ever play in the last four of the tournament.
Drogba has, however, urged the North Africans to polish their finishing when they play the Checkered Ones.
“I’ve seen a great Moroccan team, who gave everything to win.
“They weren’t really focusing on the final pass to score a goal and they got punished by a France team, who scored goals when it really mattered. Morocco still have the chance to make history and finish third in the final game,” Drogba told BBC Radio 1.
