The governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo has kicked off a two-day retreat for his newly appointed commissioners.
The retreat which has as its resource person the former governor of Lagos State and the current Minister of Works, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), is aimed at preparing the new commissioners on the task ahead.
Also in attendance are the governor’s special advisers, heads of agencies and parastatals, permanent secretaries and other key government functionaries.
Prof Soludo hopes to leverage on the experience of Fashola while as governor of Lagos in achieving a megacity status for Nigeria’s economic nerve centre.
