Nigeria’s Flying Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi has joined Liverpool Football Club of England from Imperial Academy.
The 18-year-old forward, who currently stars for the Nigeria U-23 team in addition to being included in the Flying Eagles squad for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, has equally been loaned to German Bundesliga 2 club, FSV Frankfurt. “This is the biggest club in the world and I’m privileged to be here,” Awoniyi told Liverpoolfc.com.
“I’ll try to develop myself very well so that when I come back to Liverpool I’ll be able to add value to the team.
“When I’m in the red shirt, I will always give my very best to make the fans happy,” he concluded.
