Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases continue to rise as 460 new cases were recorded by the NCDC on Monday. The new cases are from 13 States according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
The NCDC noted that Rivers State reported the highest infections of the day with 164 new cases, followed by Lagos (139), Edo (61), Bayelsa (20).
Others include; Oyo (14), Plateau (7), Ogun (6), Anambra (4), Benue (4), Enugu (2), Cross river (1), Kaduna (1).
Till date, 191,805 cases have been confirmed, 178,492 cases have been discharged and 2,455 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
