Everton manager Frank Lampard has again reiterated that Super Eagles winger, Alex Iwobi will soon ink a new deal along with two other senior players.
Iwobi has taken part in all the Toffees 15 EPL games and ahead of their home game with Wolves today Lampard revealed that negotiations with the Nigerian, Anthony Gordon and Jordan Pickford over new deals were progressing and it would be finalised soon.
When asked about how the negotiations were progressing, the boss said things were getting “close” to a conclusion.
“Hopefully, we’re in the situation where we want the players to stay and they want to say here, that’s always been the feeling, we are very close,” he said.
