Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL)champions, Enyimba has signed Warri Wolves coach, Paul Aigbogun.
“It’s official! Paul Aigbogun is the new Technical Adviser of Enyimba”, the club announced on its official twitter page @ Enyimba FC on Sunday.
Aigbogun who led the Wolves to the second position and CAF Champions league berth has been tasked by the management of the People’s Elephant to build a formidable team ahead of the new premier season and the CAF champions league competition next season.
The former Ajax cape town coach was part of the Salisu Yusuf-led technical crew that coached Enyimba in the 2012/13 season and the club believes his second spell would lead to another great conquest.
Enyimba’s subsequent official statement posted on its website read in parts: “The management, players and staff are pleased to have Paul back as head coach because he not only has top-level experience, he is equally familiar with our club and share our passion and ideals.
“In his previous spell as assistant coach in 2013 when we won our third Federation Cup, he stood out as a thorough professional, one that is as driven as we are for glory and success.
“We are very confident he can guide the team to great heights and will give him all the support he needs to succeed. His appointment takes effect immediately.
