The viable way out of the growing number of unemployed graduates would be the modification of curriculum of Nigerian universities to include skills acquisition. This suggestion was made by former President Olusegun Obasanjo when he called on Professor Msugh Kembe, vice chancellor of Benue State University.
Obasanjo said that the time has come for the country to focus its attention on job creation to be able to accommodate the large number of tertiary institutions graduates.
Professor Kembe asked Obasanjo to use his good offices as a former president to secure funds for the university to build hostels, the Senate house and install needed facilities.
