Stellar Group, the UK’s biggest football agency, which manages Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale has snapped up four players from Nigeria’s victorious Under-17 World Cup squad.
The newly recruited teenage stars are led by ex-Golden Eaglets captain and attacking midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali, who won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the recently concluded FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile. Also acquired by the UK agency are striker Samuel Chukwueze, who scored three goals at the tournament, and mid fielders, David Enogena and Joel Osikel.
The quartet are expected to sign for top European clubs in the January transfer window, with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Arsenal among those interested.
Kelechi Nwakali has already been linked with City, which signed his elder brother Chidiebere — now on loan in Spain — after the 2013 Under-17 World Cup.
Stellar, founded by David Manasseh and Jonathan Barnett, employ their own scouts and have a brilliant track record for signing young players. Around half of the England Under-17 side, who went out of the World Cup at the group stage, are on their books.
Stellar’s major clients include Gareth Bale, whose record-breaking £85million transfer to Real Madrid helped support a staff who look after 500 footballers worldwide.
