The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly arrested Doyin Okupe, the former director general of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
This was announced on Thursday on Facebook by Tolu Babaleye, one of Okupe’s attorneys.
Okupe, according to Babaleye, was detained while en route to London.
Following the former Director General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council’s money laundering conviction by the Federal High Court of Abuja, Babaleye alleged that the DSS had demanded Okupe to present court records demonstrating that he had chosen the fine option.
